Your genius mind can time travel. You can remember the past, plan for the future, or decide to be present right here and right now. But for at least half of the time research tells us we’re zoned out, often regretting the past and worrying about the future, or resisting what’s actually happening right now.
Practising mindfulness is about training your mind to notice when where your head is at any given moment. Then you have more choice over what you want to give your attention to.
